Good morning,

The best evidence yet that we live in a simulation, emerged this weekend.

Yesterday was Friday. Today is Monday. Somehow Saturday and Sunday never happened.

Alright, back to our regularly scheduled dystopia.

The U.S. federal government is still shut down, with no signs of progress. The House of Representatives is on a recess all week, so even if the Senate manages to sort out a deal, we'll have to wait until next week for a resolution.

President Trump has ratcheted up pressure on Israel and Hamas to accept his peace plan. The two sides are planning to meet in Egypt to discuss. After describing America’s cities as warzones (they’re not even close), President Trump wants to deploy the California National Guard to Portland, Oregon. California Governor Gavin Newsome plans to sue, and a federal judge has issued a temporary block on the deployment.
