All eyes are on Tehran this morning as the death toll in the regime’s crackdown on protests reaches above an alleged 2,500 people. Iran’s chief justice has urged for swift ‘punishments’ for protesters that are detained (read: summary executions). President Trump has encouraged the Iranian people saying that ‘help is on the way’.
Notably, as part of the crackdown, the Iranian regime has cut telecommunications to the country, including blocking Starlink satellite broadband. Trump and Elon Musk have allegedly buried the hatchet after their much publicized feud over the summer. As a result of the thaw in their relationship, Trump is ‘calling in’ Musk to restore Starlink coverage to Iran.
Let there be no doubt, this is a form of space warfare.
It’s unclear what other actions the President may direct against Iran, but military action (most likely strikes, but don’t rule out a Venezuela-style decapitation raid) remains on the table. For its part, the Islamic Republic has war…
