One key element that you have left out of your opinion segment: The key objective for Israel, US and quite frankly the world, is to prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon. Also, by dismantling Iran's capability, we are practically reducing China's and Russia's leverage.
Great point and we agree. President Trump has been clear that a nuclear Iran is completely unacceptable. We're onboard with that. Israel has largely succeeded in dismantling Natanz. The wild card is can they reduce the Shahid Ali Mohammadi Nuclear Facility at Fordow on their own too?
SAMNF is an HDBT, literally under a mountain. There are questions about how much explosive power is needed to destroy. Is a MOP sufficient? Are several MOPs? Would it require a nuke? There's irony in using a nuclear weapon to reduce another state's nuclear program.
Alternately, could you send a special operations team to penetrate and destroy the facility? There are VERY few organizations trained for HDBTs. Plus it requires physically putting forces on the ground 200+ miles inside of Iran. And, as any nuclear facility would be, it's heavily guarded. So it's not just a direct action team needed, but some sort of larger operation (BN? BDE?).

Anyway, this will be a tough one to solve.
